Nollywood actress Wumi Toriola recently sparked concern among fans when she shared a photo of herself in a hospital bed with a drip attached to her hand.
She captioned the photo, “Internet dragging and ICU are siblings,” implying that the intense online backlash she faced took a toll on her health.
Following this, she asked her followers to pray for her quick recovery.
The backlash stemmed from a public spat with actor and producer Afeez Owo, after which Wumi faced widespread criticism.
Fans and colleagues have since flooded her page with messages of encouragement and well wishes for her healing .
