Actor Uche Maduagwu publicly apologized to veteran actress Rita Edochie over previous critical remarks he made about her.
In a heartfelt Instagram statement on August 27, 2025, Maduagwu expressed regret, saying even wise men like King Solomon made mistakes, so he was humble enough to ask for forgiveness.
He praised Rita Edochie as a “shining light” in her family, a positive force that dispels darkness, and acknowledged her good heart.
He called on everyone to celebrate her and admitted he had learned more about her that made him change his views and apologize sincerely.
As of the latest reports, Rita Edochie has not yet responded publicly to the apology .
