This is her second Moonman in this category, having won previously in 2024 for “Water.”
Tyla surpassed notable Nigerian artists including Tems, Burna Boy, Rema, and Wizkid to claim the award, further solidifying her status as one of Africa’s biggest global stars.
She attended the awards wearing a retro Chanel dress at the UBS Arena in New York, marking another high-profile moment in her career.
