Tolani Otedola, daughter of billionaire Femi Otedola, recently flaunted a rare and luxurious Japanese crown melon valued at about ₦300,000 (approximately £150).
This melon weighs around 150 pounds and is meticulously cultivated in Japan, where farmers tend to each melon with exceptional care, often likening the process to raising a child.
Tolani described the melon as “special” due to its rich aroma and juiciness, expressing her admiration for unique and exotic fruits.
She humorously noted that such luxurious treats could easily win her heart and that she sometimes skips dates because “the way to her heart is through her stomach” especially when it comes to strange and crazy fruits.
Though she questioned if the price matched the taste, she found the experience delightful and called it a unique culinary indulgence.
