The Super Eagles’ World Cup camp officially kicked off in Rabat, Morocco, with 10 players arriving early to begin preparations for the 2026 FIFA World Cup African playoff against Gabon.

Among those who arrived early are captain William Troost-Ekong, defenders Benjamin Fredericks and Chidozie Awaziem, as well as Calvin Bassey, midfielders Alex Iwobi and Wilfred Ndidi, and forwards Moses Simon, Tolu Arokodare, Olakunle Olusegun, and Samuel Chukwueze.

The remaining 15 invited players were expected to arrive soon after, with the team set to hold closed-door training sessions ahead of the playoff match scheduled for November 13 at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium.

This camp marks the final preparations as Nigeria vies for the African playoff slot leading to the intercontinental playoff for the 2026 World Cup.
