Stella Damasus and her daughters emotionally accepted a posthumous AMAN Award on behalf of her late husband, Jaiye Aboderin, at the AMAN Awards ceremony.

She also expressed deep love and eternal remembrance of her late husband, whose death in 2004 at age 33 profoundly affected their family.
