Nigerian singer Shallipopi surprised a fan named Adémola by gifting him ₦1 million for lunch following a playful exchange on social media platform X (formerly Twitter).
Ademola had jokingly asked Shallipopi to send money for lunch, and after some banter about what he wanted to eat, Shallipopi sent him the ₦1 million via PalmPay.
The fan, who had just celebrated his birthday a week earlier, expressed immense gratitude, saying the money was more than enough as a birthday gift.
This generous act quickly went viral online and sparked praise for Shallipopi’s kindness. Shallipopi has previously gifted another fan ₦1 million after praising his song “Laho” on social media, showcasing his generosity to fans .
