Rivers: Fubara, Amaewhule attend burial of Wike’s uncle
Less than 72 hours after President Bola Tinubu reconciled the suspended Governor of Rivers State, Sim Fubara, and his political mentor, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, the two were spotted together on Saturday at the funeral of Wike’s uncle in Rumuepirikom, Obio/Akpor Local Government Area.
Also in attendance was the suspended Speaker of the Rivers State House of Assembly, Martins Amaewhule, along with other prominent dignitaries.
Their joint appearance follows recent efforts aimed at resolving the ongoing political turmoil in the state
