Portable quizzes Mercy Johnson’s new look
Controversial artist Habeeb Olalomi Badmus, popularly known as Portable, has reacted to actress Mercy Johnson’s noticeable weight loss, which recently stirred conversations online.
In a trending video, Portable said he was shocked to discover the Nollywood star was married. He recalled watching her in movies growing up and remarked on her changed appearance.
Portable commented on her former curvier shape, saying he initially suspected she had undergone surgery. He, however, praised her natural beauty and criticised the growing trend of body enhancement among women.
He also suggested that public comments about her figure might have pushed her husband to ask for the weight loss “for peace” in their home.
“I thought Mercy Johnson did BBL; I never knew her body was natural. Her husband probably told her to lose weight because her body was getting a lot of attention,” he said.
Earlier, Mercy Johnson had dismissed critics in a TikTok post, saying she was unbothered by their opinions.
