Petrol Price Hits ₦992/Litre at NNPC Stations

The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) has raised the pump price of petrol from ₦865 to ₦992 per litre.

As of the time this report was filed, no official explanation has been provided for the price adjustment.

During visits to several NNPC retail stations across Lagos, attendants were observed updating pump displays to reflect the new pricing. At the NNPC outlet on Ogunusi Road in Ojodu Berger, staff confirmed they had received directives to implement the new rate of ₦992 per litre.

However, inspections at Ibafo, along the Lagos–Ibadan Expressway, revealed that some NNPC stations were still displaying the previous price of ₦875 per litre, though they were not dispensing fuel to customers.
