Dr. Patrick Ilo, CEO and Managing Director of Petrocam Trading Nigeria Ltd, celebrates his birthday today, May 15, 2025.
Marking the occasion quietly in his newly constructed Victoria Island office, he emphasized the importance of gratitude and attributed his success in business to faith and leadership by example.
Speaking on Petrocam’s contributions to Nigeria’s economy, Ilo reaffirmed his commitment to expanding the company’s value chain while maintaining a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
He also highlighted his vision of continuing to lead the fuel, oil, and gas market through innovation and strategic growth.
When he was asked the secret of his business success in oil and gas and all his businesses, he replied with absolute confidence that the foundation of Petrocam and his other businesses is God.
According to him, “God has been faithful.”
He also attributed good leadership to the success achieved so far in his various companies. To him, a leader must show the path to his people which they will follow.
He said the company will not lose focus of customer service and will consistently give customers the value they desire.
The successful businessman who bagged his PhD in one of the best institutions in the world was also noted to have introduced warehousing management technique to the Nigerian economy, mentioned that his company’s vision is to continue to make a difference and maintain our position as leader in the oil and gas market ”
