Victor Osimhen, Yakubu Ayegbeni, Ademola Lookman, and Gift Orban have made history for Nigeria in UEFA records through remarkable achievements in European football competitions.
Osimhen is the top-scoring Nigerian in UEFA Champions League history with 15 goals, surpassing Obafemi Martins.
He has scored 22 goals in European club competitions, including 12 in the Champions League and 10 in the Europa League.

Osimeh also became the second Nigerian to score a hat-trick in the Champions League and the tenth Nigerian to achieve a hat-trick across all European competitions.
Additionally, he is closing in on records for Champions League appearances held by Victor Ikpeba and Célestine Babayaro. Osimhen has also set the record for the most consecutive European matches scored in for Galatasaray, with seven games.
Yakubu Ayegbeni was the first Nigerian to score a hat-trick in the Champions League, achieving this feat for Maccabi Haifa in 2002.
He has been one of Nigeria’s top European scorers with seven Champions League goals among his total European goals.
