Kylian Mbappé has withdrawn from the France national team due to ongoing inflammation in his right ankle.

After scoring twice in France’s 4-0 win against Ukraine, reaching the milestone of 400 career goals, he was sent back to his club, Real Madrid, for further medical examination and treatment.

The French Football Federation confirmed he was withdrawn alongside other players due to injury concerns.

The inflammation has been persistent, and Mbappé will undergo detailed tests in Madrid to determine the extent of the injury and outline a recovery plan.

Real Madrid and the French national team staff do not see the injury as serious at this time, and he is expected to be fit for upcoming club matches, including one against Elche on November 23. The injury forced him out of France’s next game against Azerbaijan.
