A Nigerian photojournalist, Victor Modo, has publicly challenged and rebutted Senator Ned Nwoko’s recent claims about the completion and modernity of a mini stadium project in Issele-Uku, Delta State.
While Ned Nwoko unveiled the mini stadium, describing it as a modern facility with a standard football pitch and multiple sports amenities intended to inspire youth and promote community spirit, Victor Modo presented evidence suggesting the facility is incomplete and does not match the senator’s description.
Modo’s video showed that the site still looks unfinished and lacks the quality features Mr. Nwoko claimed.
This discrepancy led to social media discussions, with many users reacting critically to the senator’s statement and praising the journalist for fact-checking the project.
The photojournalist emphasized that the site appeared more like a forest than a modern stadium, contradicting the positive portrayal by Ned Nwoko.
