The Federal Government of Nigeria has awarded N200,000 to Nafisa Abdullahi Aminu, a 17-year-old teenager from Yobe State, who won the title of World Best in English at the 2025 TeenEagle Global Finals held in London. Nafisa competed against 20,000 participants from 69 countries and emerged the overall best in English language skills.

This recognition reflects the government’s pride in her achievement and commitment to supporting education and outstanding talents in Nigeria.

The award was part of efforts to honor and encourage young Nigerians excelling on international platforms .
