Novak Djokovic defeated Zachary Svajda in the US Open 2025 as part of his pursuit of a record-breaking 25th Grand Slam title.

Djokovic, who already holds 24 Grand Slam titles, is aiming to surpass Australia’s Margaret Court with this 25th major victory.

The match against Svajda was part of the second round of the tournament held at Arthur Ashe Stadium, New York.

Despite dealing with a blister on his foot, Djokovic managed to maintain his form and continue his quest for this historic milestone at age 38, reinforcing his legacy as one of the greatest players of all time.

Notably, Djokovic sees Wimbledon as his best chance to secure the 25th title, especially given his past successes there, but the US Open remains a critical event in his campaign to achieve this record.
