Davido lambasts Osun Police Commissioner over political crisis

Afrobeat star David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has publicly criticised Osun State Commissioner of Police, CP Mohammed Abba, over the political crisis in the state.

Osun, currently governed by Davido’s uncle, Governor Ademola Adeleke, is facing heightened tensions over the attempt by the sacked the All Progressives Congress (APC) local government chairmen to reclaim their seats.

Amid the chaos, Davido took to his X (formerly Twitter) handle to call out the Osun State police chief, accusing him of failing to uphold the rule of law. In a series of strongly worded posts, written in a mix of English and Pidgin, Davido lashed out at the commissioner, warning him against biased actions.

“Mr Commissioner, respect the rule of law!!! You are not madder or crazier than us!! Make we all kuku mad!! MEN MOUNT WALAI TO KRF!!! I will post you every day everywhere, Mr man!!! Try me, fucker,” he wrote.

In another post, he added, “Mr Umar Abba, Osun State Commissioner, you are a disgrace to your children!!! Game on, FUCKER!!!! All of us go mad together!! Werey!!! Mr Commissioner, we die here.”
