Nigerian singer Davido fired back at a fan who suggested that his fanbase needed a formal organizational structure.
The fan had proposed that major fan accounts coordinate through a shared group chat and have a contact person from Davido’s team to better manage the fanbase.
Davido responded bluntly on the social platform X (formerly Twitter) by telling the fan “U dey crase” (a local slang meaning “you are crazy”), rejecting the idea of formalizing the fanbase structure.
He emphasized that despite stacking millions of dollars, he was not interested in creating a group chat or a formal group for his fans.
This reply sparked mixed reactions among fans, with some viewing it as rude while others defended Davido, suggesting fans could organize themselves without his direct involvement.
For now, Davido prefers to keep control over his messaging and posts without formally structuring the fanbase.
