Dede Ashiogwu, the first runner-up of Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) Season 10, has affirmed that Imisi’s win was not due to regional bias but was earned purely on merit.
She dismissed claims suggesting that regional politics influenced the outcome, emphasizing that the winner received the highest number of votes and truly deserved the victory.
Dede stated this during the prize presentation ceremony and highlighted the importance of respecting the voting process and celebrating the winner’s success.
She also addressed allegations made by a media aide to the Delta State Governor, who claimed Dede was unfairly denied victory because of regional favoritism, but Dede refuted these claims firmly.
