18 months after, APC NEC meeting underway amid tight security
For the first time in 18 months, the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) is currently holding its National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting at the party’s secretariat in Abuja.
The meeting, which ought to be holding at every quarter, according to its constitution is holding for the first time since President Bola Tinubu assumed office.
At 8:30 a.m., committee members started arriving at the venue amid tight security, with key stakeholders, including members of the National Working Committee (NWC) and the Forum of State Chairmen, already seated.
Early arrivals include former Zamfara State Governor, Sen. Abdulaziz Yari; former Kebbi State Governor and Minister of Budget and National Planning, Sen. Abubakar Atiku Bagudu; and Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Benjamin Kalu.

The NEC meeting is holding following the National Caucus meeting held last night in Nigeria.
