Nigerian actor and filmmaker Femi Adebayo was recently honored by a student from Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) who dedicated her research project to his film “Seven Doors.”

The student, named Oyindamola, wrote a research paper titled “The Aesthetics of Oral Performance in Femi Adebayo’s Seven Doors.”

Femi Adebayo met Oyindamola at OAU, where she presented her project, and he expressed deep pride and gratitude for seeing his creative work inspire academic research.

He described it as a full-circle moment, from taking acting seriously to becoming a subject of academic study.

Femi Adebayo praised Oyindamola’s intelligence and dedication and said the experience motivated him to continue producing quality art.

The interaction also stirred excitement among Nigerian social media users who applauded both the actor and the student for promoting Nollywood and Yoruba culture through artistic and academic endeavors.
