Mohbad

Mohbad’s widow, Wunmi, revealed in a recent court filing that her father-in-law, Joseph Aloba, insisted on conducting the DNA test for their son Liam at two specific foreign hospitals of his choice, claiming only they could deliver reliable results.

The court rejected Joseph Aloba’s request, opting instead to select neutral hospitals independently to ensure impartiality.

It also ordered him to cover all costs, as he initiated the second test, and required both parties to attend the sample collection.

This dispute has been ongoing since Mohbad’s death in 2023, with Joseph Aloba repeatedly demanding DNA testing to verify Liam’s paternity. Wunmi has accused him of delaying the process and trying to influence the outcomes.

The situation has drawn public frustration, with many seeing the father-in-law’s actions as obstructive.
