“You Introduced Me to Drugs”: Ned Nwoko’s Fifth Wife Accuses Regina Daniels

The ongoing marital dispute between actress Regina Daniels and Senator Ned Nwoko has escalated dramatically, with the senator’s fifth wife, Laila Charani, publicly accusing Regina of drug abuse, financial dishonesty, and inappropriate conduct.

In a statement posted to her Instagram page on Thursday, Charani directly refuted Regina’s previous claims of financially supporting her and her children during a family crisis.

“How dare you say that you ever gave me money, for what exactly? I am very content with the provisions my husband makes for our family,” Charani wrote, challenging Regina to a comparison of their bank statements.

The conflict intensified as Charani made several serious allegations against the 25-year-old actress, stating that the core issue in the marriage is Daniels’ alleged substance abuse.

According to Charani, Senator Nwoko has been urging Regina to address her addiction, which she claims contradicts the senator’s teetotaler lifestyle.

Charani further alleged that Regina introduced her to drug use six years ago, nearly destroying her marriage. “You know too well that I almost lost my marriage when you introduced me to drugs 6 years ago,” she revealed, adding that Regina had allegedly distributed drugs to household staff and even her own younger sister.

The Moroccan-born entrepreneur also made disturbing claims about Regina’s conduct, stating she would not trust her daughters around the actress unsupervised.

“I say this not out of anger, but from a place of truth and concern for the level of lies you are peddling,” Charani emphasized.

The public confrontation marks a new low in the relationship between the two women, which observers note has been strained since Charani’s temporary separation from Senator Nwoko in 2021 and subsequent return to the household in 2022. The allegations have added fuel to the already intense media scrutiny surrounding the high-profile polygamous marriage.
