Tottenham Hotspur is providing support to their defender Destiny Udogie after he was allegedly threatened with a firearm by a man in London in a disturbing incident that occurred on September 6, 2025.

The Metropolitan Police responded to the event in a north London suburb, where Udogie, along with another man in his twenties, was reportedly threatened by the same individual.

The man, a 31-year-old, was arrested on September 8 on suspicion of possession of a firearm with intent, blackmail, and driving without a license, and has since been released on bail while investigations continue.

Tottenham has expressed ongoing support for Udogie and his family but has stated they cannot provide further details due to the legal nature of the matter.

Udogie has continued playing for Tottenham, including starting in recent matches such as the Champions League win over Copenhagen.
