A Nigerian lady named Anita Chinwe Ihebinike posted screenshots on social media showing her transfer of ₦100 to VeryDarkMan’s NGO account, the Martins Vincent Otse Initiative, to prove the transparency of the NGO’s funds.
The transfer reflected on the NGO website within 57 seconds, verifying the real-time display of the account balance. As of October 25, 2025, the account balance shown in the screenshot was ₦241,993,236.50.
This came amid rumors accusing VeryDarkMan of mismanaging the NGO’s funds, including allegations that donations were used to buy a Mercedes Benz.
The NGO, launched in October 2024, focuses on community development and improving public schools in Nigeria and also received a significant donation of ₦100 million from music producer Don Jazzy.
