Southwest senators receive N3.135 billion for 2004 zonal intervention projects in 2024, see list
Senators in the Southwest – Lagos, Ogun, Oyo, Ekiti, Osun and Ekiti received N3.135 billion for Zonal Intervention Project (ZIP) in the 2024 budget.
Senator Oyewumi Kamorudeen Olalere, representing Osun West received the highest amount of N1.3 billion while Senator Ipinsagba Emmanuel Olajide, representing Ondo North received the least amount of N140 million. Others Senators received an average N222 million each.
The allocation intended for specific intervention projects, has raised concerns about how the funds were utilized.
