JAMB Orders Candidates To Re-Upload  O’Level Results

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has issued a directive requiring all candidates applying for admission in the 2025 academic session to re-upload their O’level results on its official portal.

This instruction specifically targets candidates who had previously uploaded their results before the official release of the 2025 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE). JAMB clarified that “all previously uploaded records have now been cleared from its system.”

In its weekly bulletin released on Monday, the Board explained that the decision was taken to eliminate discrepancies and ensure that only verified WAEC results are used during the admission process.

JAMB emphasized that, “Some candidates who sat for the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination, UTME, with ‘awaiting results’ had prematurely uploaded incomplete WAEC records before the final release.”

To rectify the situation, the Board declared: “To address the issue, JAMB has mandated a fresh upload for every candidate, irrespective of whether the new results differ from those uploaded earlier.”

The bulletin further advised: “All UTME candidates are advised to urgently re-upload their 2025 SSCE results on the JAMB portal to remain eligible for admission consideration.”
