Selena Gomez has shared a hopeful message about motherhood despite facing medical challenges that prevent her from carrying a child herself.
The 33-year-old singer and actress, who has lupus and underwent a kidney transplant, revealed that her womb cannot support pregnancy safely.
However, she expressed gratitude for alternatives like surrogacy and adoption, which she considers “huge possibilities” for becoming a mother. Gomez said that while having a child this way “looks a little different,” it ultimately doesn’t matter to her because “it’ll be my baby.”
She has come to terms with her situation after grieving the impossibility of carrying a child and remains excited about her future journey to parenthood.
Gomez is currently engaged to music producer Benny Blanco, who has also spoken about his hopes to become a father.
