Popular Nigerian comedian and content creator Emmanuel Chukwuemeka Ejekwu, known as Sabinus, recently showcased a self-funded road construction project in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.

In videos he shared on social media, Sabinus displayed impressive “before and after” clips showing the transformation of a once pothole-riddled, nearly impassable road at First Mechanic, Alakahia, along the East-West Road, into a smooth, freshly paved surface.
Sabinus undertook and funded this road project personally as a way to give back to his community, easing the daily struggles of residents and motorists dependent on that road.

His active involvement was captured in earlier footage showing him working alongside a team, grading the road, filling potholes, and discussing the project with engineers.

The initiative has been widely praised online as a commendable example of citizens taking development into their own hands, especially amid widespread challenges with road infrastructure in Nigeria.

Social media reactions were very positive, applauding Sabinus for his commitment to community upliftment and urging other influential figures to emulate his example.

His gesture has reinforced his reputation not only as a successful entertainer but also as a hometown hero dedicated to improving the lives of those in his locality.
