Manchester United have officially completed the signing of Slovenian striker Benjamin Sesko from RB Leipzig on a five-year contract until 2030. The transfer fee is reported to be around €76.5 million (approximately £73.7 million) with potential add-ons of €8.5 million, making the total deal worth near €85 million ($98.8 million).
Sesko, who scored 21 goals in 45 appearances for Leipzig last season, expressed excitement about joining United and their project for future success. Despite interest from Newcastle and Arsenal, Sesko chose Manchester United, which made the deal after confirming his preference for Old Trafford.
This signing is part of Manchester United’s broader strategy to rebuild their attacking options ahead of the new Premier League season.
