Guest Dies At Niger Govt House After Missing Food Security Chairman
A man identified as Gregory suddenly collapsed and within a lodge at the Niger State Government House in Minna.
According to the state’s Police Command, Gregory had arrived to meet Sammy Adigun, chairman of the Niger Food Security Systems and Logistics Company Limited, but reportedly became distressed upon learning his host was unavailable.
Despite efforts to obtain medical assistance from IBB Specialist Hospital, Gregory died before help could reach him.
Police spokesperson Wasiu Abiodun, confirmed the incident in a statement issued Monday, noting that it occurred around 9:30 pm on Friday, August 2.
He added that Gregory’s remains have been deposited at the hospital mortuary for an autopsy to determine the cause of death.
