Big Brother housemate Victory Okokon has claimed the title of the third Head of House (HOH) in the current season of the reality show. The season began a few weeks ago with a two-day launch event hosted by Emeka Obi-Uchendu, where viewers were introduced first to the female housemates on day one, followed by the male contestants on day two.
Thelma Lawson initially secured the first female HOH spot but was soon dethroned after Biggie announced a surprise challenge that led to Victory taking over the role. As HOH, Victory gained the privilege to select a housemate to join him in the HOH lounge. In a move that caught many fans off guard, he picked Joanna as his deputy instead of the widely expected choice, Gigi Jasmine.
Fans reacted enthusiastically to Victory’s win, with many expressing relief as they found Thelma’s leadership too strict. Supporters celebrated his victory, highlighting his close friendship with Isabella as adding extra meaning to the moment.
It’s also notable that Jason was the season’s first-ever HOH; his reign went viral after he firmly warned housemates to behave or face strikes and potential eviction.
