Dangote lowers petrol price again to N820/litre
Dangote Petroleum Refinery has announced a further reduction in its ex-depot price for petroleum, slashing it from N840 to N820 per litre.
This marks the second price cut within a week.
Just last week, the refinery had lowered its ex-depot price from N880 to N840 per litre.
Anthony Chiejina, spokesperson for the Dangote Group, confirmed the new price, stating that it took effect immediately on Tuesday.
He explained that the previous adjustment to N840 per litre was a response to volatility in the global crude oil market, particularly due to a 12-day geopolitical crisis in the Middle East that had driven crude prices upward.
