Exam Shock: JAMB candidate scoring 326 asked to retake UTME

A candidate who scored 326 in the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) UTME exam has shared a message from the examination body informing him that he must retake the test.

The news surfaced on social media through a post by @swagpriest2 on X (formerly Twitter), where he voiced his frustration over the unexpected development.

Earlier, the candidate had proudly shared his score online, writing, “Hope 326 isn’t a bad score for Twitter NG.”

However, following JAMB’s confirmation of errors at several exam centers, many candidates—despite their scores—have reportedly been rescheduled for a retake.

In his latest update, @swagpriest2 shared a screenshot of the SMS he received and wrote: “WTF I got rescheduled… I’m not even in Lagos. Gosh, this country is so awful.”

His post quickly gained attention, with many users flooding the comment section to express their sympathy and share similar experiences.

See some reactions below:

@darhythms: “Also did you by any chance write in Lagos and then move afterwards?”

@__onisamuel: “Is it that they just pick candidates to result again?”

@Yhuchez: “Lmao. Them take back the score. Them say no be your own.”

@mrsaka_1: “Thought they said they rescheduled those that scored below 200 only ?”
